Maui women are invited to join the newly-formed local chapter of Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE) for a Q&A luncheon featuring Governor Neil Abercrombie on Feb. 9 at UH Maui College’s Class Act Restaurant from 11:30am to 1pm.
WiRE is a networking association for women helping to create a sustainable Hawaii powered by clean energy. WiRE is an inclusive group of women who are active in the various sectors of renewable energy as well as those who may support the cause through activities or work in related fields.
The luncheon is $14 for members and $18 for non-member. The price includes a three-course lunch provided by the Maui Culinary Academy. You can become a member at hawaiiwire.org/membership. RSVP for the event by Feb. 7 at hawaiiwire.org. Space is limited.
